HAN University and FabLab@SCHOOLdk organize a study week about maker education. The Danish FabLab@SCHOOLdk network visits the region with 75 FabLab-staff members, teachers, school leaders and consultants from primary and secondary schools, teacher education, Special Education and Libraries. Together, they are studying the potential of Maker Education for stimulating learning, computational empowerment, handcraft, art & design and inspiring students for vocational studies.
On Wednesday we also invite 75 participants from the Dutch maker education community to a ‘Hands On – Minds On – Hearts On’ “conference” day in Arnhem, at the campus of the University of applied sciences Arnhem and Nijmegen. The event will focus on meeting, sharing insights and co-creating in workshops conducted by the 75 Dutch and 75 Danish participants.
